The room itself dated back\ncenturies, as did the outer guard chamber.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp;\n<\/span>The walls were thick and secure.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp;\n<\/span>There were secret ways to leave quickly with no trace that there had\nbeen anyone there. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><\/span><p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">As they walked into the room, Osham bowed deeply and\nbacked to the rear side of the Prince\u2019s chair. The lush pillows and golden\nappointments, the large imposing chair and the guards on either side were\ndesigned to simply state that whoever was here to present whatever, was dealing\nwith a person of power in his own right and should be taken seriously <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">As the Prince mounted the chair he used to receive\n\u201cguests\u201d, he spoke with authority: \u201cSalaam: to what do I owe the honor of your\nvisit?<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>What a surprise!<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>Have your men been attended to with water and\nsome refreshment?<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>Is there anything that\nwe can do to make this visit more accommodating to your needs and those of your\nmen?<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>Meanwhile, I doubt that you were\nsimply in the area and came to give me greetings from the Emir ?\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cNo my Lord Prince, but thank you.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>My men have been accommodated for all their\nneeds at present. <\/span>Now Shareem brought other\nchains, one attached the mighty sinewy trunk legs together.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>The other, brought his hand down with a\nmomentary side chain to hold his wrist behind his back so that another chain\nwould bring the wrists together so that they might hold them securely just\nabove the top of his buttocks. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cShall we go now \u2018boy\u2019?\u201d said Shareem with pursed\nlips.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>With this, the\ntwo six foot slaves nearly dragged the Kryptonian with an arm over each\nshoulder to the other side of the room.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cThis will never work\u201d said Abu. \u201cLet me take him, you\njust prepare the way.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cThanks\u201d said Shareem.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp;\n<\/span>\u201cYou are right.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp;
